The NASCAR Cup Series is a stock car racing series owned and operated by NASCAR (the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing). NASCAR’s premier series had been known as the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series since Jan. 1, 2017, rebranded in 2020. It holds races over the season at tracks located in the United States both road courses and ovals. Although the roots of the series was in the use of "stock" manufacturers vehicles, todays cars are custom built automobiles powered by custom built V8 engines.

Kansas Speedway - Cup Series Race Winners
 | Kansas Speedway is a 1.500 mi (2.414 km) tri-oval race track in the Village West area near Kansas City, Kansas, United States. It was built in 2001 and it currently hosts two annual NASCAR race weekends. The IndyCar Series also held races at the venue until 2011. The speedway is owned and operated by NASCAR. In July 2011, the speedway announced they would reconfigure the speedway . Some of the changes included adding a road course in the infield, repaving the oval, and adding variable banking. The banking in the turns was increased from a uniform 15 degrees to a progressively 17–20 degrees as well as the grass on the inside of the backstretch was paved over for safety reasons. |
